Position: Digital, AI and Innovation Intern
UNDP is looking for motivated and innovative interns interested in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, data, and innovation to support global development initiatives.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:
Currently enrolled in:
- A graduate school programme (Master’s degree or equivalent/higher), or
- The final academic year of a first university degree programme (Bachelor’s level or equivalent), or
- Have graduated with a university degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent/higher) and, if selected, start the internship within one year after graduation.
Preferred Background
Interest or experience in areas such as:
- Digital transformation
- Artificial intelligence
- Innovation
- Data analytics
- Technology solutions
- Research and knowledge management
Internship Work Areas
Selected interns may support activities related to:
Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Supporting digital solutions and innovation initiatives.
- Exploring new technologies and approaches.
Programme Delivery & Capacity Building
- Supporting implementation of digital programmes.
- Assisting training and knowledge-sharing activities.
Data Policy & Governance
- Supporting data management, governance, and policy-related work.
Data Analytics & Insights
- Supporting data analysis and generating insights.
Partnerships & Strategic Communications
- Supporting communication activities and stakeholder engagement.
Process Efficiency & Resource Management
- Helping improve workflows and operational efficiency.
Product Design, Development & Management
- Supporting digital products, including AI-based tools.
Research & Knowledge Management
- Conducting research and organizing knowledge resources.
