The U.S. Mission in Ethiopia is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for positions open to All Interested Applicants/All Sources.

Position 1: Warehouse Worker (Truck Driver)
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should have:
- Completion of primary school
Experience Requirement
- Minimum 2 years of professional truck or heavy vehicle driving experience
- At least 1 year of experience in manual labor or warehouse work
Language Requirement
- Limited knowledge of English in speaking, reading, and writing
- Good working knowledge of Amharic in speaking, reading, and writing
- Language skills may be tested.
Salary
USD $8,259 per year
Duty Station
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Position 2: Maintenance Team Lead (NEC/NCC)
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should have:
- Completion of secondary school
- Plus 2 years of successfully completed specialized vocational training from an accredited institute in one or more of:
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Electrical systems
- Maintenance and construction services
Experience Requirement
- At least 5 years of progressive experience applying advanced technician-level electrical, mechanical, or plumbing engineering systems.
- Experience ensuring central systems or equipment function properly and performing hands-on repairs.
- At least 1 additional year of experience as a technical team leader or supervisor in:
- Construction
- Facility maintenance
- Building operations
Language Requirement
- Good working knowledge of English in speaking, reading, and writing
- Good working knowledge of Amharic in speaking, reading, and writing
- Language skills may be tested.
Salary
USD $12,987 per year
