Position 1: General Administration Staff
SINOHYDRO is seeking a qualified and organized professional to support its administrative operations.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant educational background in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Required Skills:
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Overseas project experience is an advantage.
Age Requirement:
- Between 25 and 35 years old.
Workplace: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Finance Officer
SINOHYDRO is seeking a qualified Finance Officer to support its financial operations.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
Required Skills:
- Good command of English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- ACCA qualification is preferred.
Age Requirement:
- Between 25 and 35 years old.

Position 3: Civil Estimation / Cost Engineer
SINOHYDRO is seeking an experienced Civil Estimation / Cost Engineer to support construction cost estimation and tender-related activities.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Civil Estimation, Quantity Surveying, Cost Control, or Tender Pricing.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, Quantity Take-Off, Cost Estimation, and Unit Rate Analysis.
- Ability to independently prepare detailed Unit Rate Analysis and Rate Build-Ups.
- Strong knowledge of construction market prices in Ethiopia is mandatory.
- Knowledge of local prices for major construction materials, including cement, reinforcement steel, sand, aggregate, concrete, hollow blocks, formwork materials, structural steel, pipes, and other construction materials.
- Knowledge of local labor costs, machinery rental rates, transportation costs, subcontractor rates, and supplier prices.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to independently prepare cost calculation and rate analysis spreadsheets.
- Ability to read and understand civil and structural drawings.
- Experience in building, substation, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Experience with EPC, FIDIC, international projects, or major construction tenders is preferred.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience working with Chinese construction companies or international construction companies is preferred.

Position 4: Civil Technical Engineer
SINOHYDRO is looking for a qualified Civil Technical Engineer with practical construction experience to support its engineering and project activities.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Civil Construction, Contracting, or Consulting.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong AutoCAD skills and ability to read and understand civil and structural drawings.
- Ability to independently prepare Method Statements and construction methodologies.
- Ability to prepare Quality Plans and Quality Control Plans.
- Ability to prepare HSE Plans, Risk Assessments, and JSA/JHA documents.
- Practical experience in building construction, substation civil works, industrial buildings, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of reinforced concrete, foundations, reinforcement, formwork, masonry, and other common civil construction activities.
- Experience with FIDIC, EPC, or international construction projects is preferred.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to prepare technical documents in English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
- Experience working with Chinese contractors or international construction companies is preferred.
- Knowledge of Ethiopian construction practices, standards, and local project requirements is an additional advantage.
