JOB POSITION & REQUIREMENTS
Position 1: Procurement Department Supervisor
Responsibilities and Duties:
Procurement planning
- Plan and forecast procurement needs in line with business requirements, budgets, and schedules.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure consistent quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of goods and services.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring the best value for the company in terms of pricing, quality, and delivery.
Team leadership and development
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement department
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to optimize team efficiency and performance.
Supplier relationship management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering trust and collaboration to ensure optimal performance and value.
- Manage vendor performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and company standards.
Procurement operations management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the procurement department, ensuring that all procurement activities are executed efficiently and in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services to meet production or operational needs.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Cost control
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve favorable terms, discounts, and payment conditions.
Risk management and Compliance
- Assess and manage risks related to procurement, including supply chain disruptions, quality control, and vendor reliability.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry-specific standards in all procurement activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in procurement laws, environmental regulations, and market trends that may impact purchasing decisions.
Collaboration with other departments
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Operations, Finance, Legal, and Logistics) to understand their procurement needs and align sourcing strategies.
- Provide procurement support to internal teams, addressing any issues related to supply chain, inventory, or cost management.
- Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments for suppliers.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Experience in negotiating contracts, managing suppliers, and overseeing procurement operations within a fast-paced environment.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Expertise in procurement strategy development, sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and financial management.
- Attention to detail, ensuring all procurement activities are executed accurately and in compliance with company policies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Position 2: Operation Manager
Responsibilities and Duties:
Operational strategy and Planning
- Develop, implement, and manage operational strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day activities.
- Set long-term goals and objectives for operations and ensure alignment with the company’s overall business strategy.
- Continuously analyze and review operational processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and streamline workflows.
Team leadership and Management
- Lead, supervise, and support operations teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Manage the performance of employees through regular evaluations, setting goals, and providing guidance to enhance individual and team performance.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment, focusing on motivation, engagement, and team success.
Process improvement and Efficiency
- Evaluate and implement improvements in operational processes, aiming for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
- Use data and metrics to monitor operations and identify areas for improvement, creating action plans to optimize workflows.
- Implement lean management practices, process automation, or technology solutions to reduce inefficiencies and improve overall productivity.
Budget and Resource management
- Prepare, manage, and monitor operational budgets, ensuring optimal use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
- Manage resource allocation across departments, ensuring the right amount of staffing, equipment, and materials are available.
- Oversee inventory control, procurement, and asset management, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising operational effectiveness.
Quality control and Compliance
- Ensure that operational processes meet internal quality standards and comply with industry regulations, safety protocols, and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure all processes and procedures are being followed correctly.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures that ensure operational quality, safety, and compliance.
Cross-departmental collaboration
- Collaborate with other department leaders (e.g., HR, Finance, Sales, IT) to align operational goals with organizational objectives.
- Provide operational insights and support to help other departments achieve their objectives.
- Ensure smooth communication between departments, addressing any operational challenges and resolving issues promptly.
Risk Management and Problem-Solving
- Identify and manage operational risks, implementing strategies to mitigate issues and minimize potential disruptions.
- Troubleshoot problems, resolve conflicts, and address operational challenges in a timely manner to prevent delays or negative impacts on the business.
- Develop contingency plans and crisis management strategies to address unforeseen operational issues.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master of Science in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years or 6+ years of experience for Bachelor and Master’s degree respectively in operations management, including leadership roles and managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience in managing budgets, performance metrics, and process optimization.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues, find solutions, and drive improvements.
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools to ensure effective execution of operational projects.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to clearly present information to senior leadership and team members.
Position 3: Electrician
Electrician Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, install, and maintain appliances, equipment, and fixtures
- Determine the causes of system and equipment failures
- Advise the management team of critical systems that could be hazardous
- Using measurement tools test the continuity of circuits
- Draft blueprints that display the position and orientation of critical system components, wiring, and circuitry
- Connect power cables and equipment
- Responsible for installation of wiring systems (lighting, security, fire) and equipment.
- Install ground leads
- Test equipment and electric systems
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electricity or other related fields.
- 5 years of experience as an electrician or similar role
- Knowledge and experience of building construction, security and mechanics
- Take responsibility, pay attention to safety procedures and legal regulations
- Knowledge and experience of appropriate building and fire safety codes
- Experienced in reading architects drawings to be able to perform their work effectively.
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
