Position Summary: Junior Warehouse Agent
Safe Zone Logistic PLC is seeking a competent Junior Warehouse Agent to support the Mail and Courier department. The role involves handling warehouse operations, cargo management, and assisting with logistics activities while maintaining high accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in warehouse and cargo handling operations
- Maintain accurate records and support warehouse management systems
- Coordinate with team members and government officials as needed
- Follow Ethiopian Customs regulations and bonded warehouse procedures
- Perform light manual labor when required
- Work in full 24/7 rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field
- Well-groomed with a professional appearance
- Strong written and spoken English skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and punctuality
- Computer literate, familiar with scanning/warehouse-management systems
- Knowledge of Ethiopian Customs regulations, bonded warehouse operations, and cargo handling is an advantage
- Physically fit and able to perform minor manual tasks
- Willingness to work flexible 24/7 shifts
- Valid Ethiopian Driver’s License is a plus
