Puagume Manufacturing is an Addis Ababa-based electro-mechanical design and manufacturing company specializing in delivering high-quality, locally developed products and customized engineering solutions. Our work includes custom machinery design, structural studies, component manufacturing, electronic control assembly, and local product sourcing.
By focusing on homegrown innovation and manufacturing, we aim to reduce reliance on imports and strengthen Ethiopia’s industrial capacity.
Position 1: Junior Designer
Educational Background:
- Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar.
- Experience with 3D modeling and technical drawing.
- Knowledge of CNC machining or sheet metal design is an added advantage.
Professional Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
Location: Lebu Meberat, Addis Ababa
Position 2: Sales Engineer (Female)
Required Qualifications:
- Female candidates preferred for this role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to translate client requirements into technical documentation.
Experience:
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or technical support is advantageous but not mandatory.
