Nib International Bank S.C (NIB) was established on May 26, 1999, in accordance with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia and the Proclamation for Licensing and Supervision of Banking Business. The Bank began operations on October 28, 1999, with 27 employees and became the sixth private bank licensed in Ethiopia.
The Bank was founded by 717 shareholders with a paid-up capital of Birr 27.6 million and an authorized capital of Birr 150 million. NIB continues to play a significant role in the Ethiopian banking sector by providing reliable and customer-focused financial services.

Educational Qualification
- LLM or LLB Degree in Law from a recognized higher learning institution
Work Experience
- Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant work experience
- At least 2 years must be served as an Attorney or in an equivalent related position
