Job Summary
Nib International Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Strategy and Change Management Officer to lead initiatives that drive institutional transformation, improve operational performance, and support strategic planning. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to organizational development through innovative change management practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education:
Bachelorβs Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related fields. - Experience:
Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience, including at least 2 years as a Senior Strategy and Change Management Officer or in an equivalent role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage strategic initiatives and change management projects across departments
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align business goals with operational execution
- Conduct impact assessments and develop change management plans
- Monitor and evaluate performance indicators to ensure project alignment with institutional objectives
- Provide training and support on change readiness and implementation
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of strategic planning frameworks
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and change processes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Analytical mindset with a results-driven approach
- Familiarity with banking operations and regulations in Ethiopia
