Scholarship Benefits
National Science Scholarship (BS, MS, PhD)
- Full tuition coverage
- Monthly sustenance allowance (including CPF contribution where applicable)
- Monthly overseas living allowance
- Annual return airfare
- Additional allowances: conference, thesis, computer, warm clothing, and settling-in
SINGA Scholarship (MS, PhD)
- Full tuition fees
- Monthly stipend: S$2,000, increasing to S$2,500 after passing the Qualifying Examination
- One-time airfare grant: up to S$1,500
- One-time settling-in allowance: S$1,000
A*STAR International Fellowship (Postdoctoral)
- Monthly overseas living allowance
- Monthly sustenance allowance (including CPF contribution)
- Annual return airfare
- Additional allowances: settling-in, computer, conference, and personal insurance
Eligibility Criteria
BS/MS Students:
- Must be Singaporean or intend to take up Singapore citizenship (for non-Singapore nationals)
- Undergraduate students in their 3rd or 4th year, or Master’s students
- Must demonstrate strong academic performance
PhD Students:
- Open to all international graduates
- Strong passion for research and excellent academic record
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Positive recommendations from academic referees
