About NEBE
The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is an independent constitutional body established under Article 102 of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The Board conducts national and local elections and referendums across Ethiopia. Following Proclamation No. 1133/2019, NEBE operates with a five-member full-time board serving six-year terms.
Available Positions
Position 1: Junior Finance Expert II
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business or related fields
Experience: 2 years (Master’s) or 4 years (BA)
Duty Station: Jimma
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws
- Payroll preparation and budgeting
- IFMIS proficiency
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Not a member of a political party
Position 2: Logistics Expert
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management or related fields
Experience: 5 years (Master’s) or 7 years (BA)
Duty Station: Jimma – South West Ethiopia RBO (Bonga)
Key Skills:
- Logistics management software proficiency
- Strong organizational and multitasking ability
- Problem-solving under pressure
- Knowledge of supply chain processes
- Not a member of a political party
Position 3: Procurement Expert
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, Management, Economics, Marketing or related fields
Experience: 5 years (Master’s) or 7 years (BA)
Duty Station: South West Ethiopia RBO (Bonga)
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of procurement regulations
- Negotiation and vendor management
- Procurement software proficiency
- Not a member of a political party
Position 4: Political Party Affairs & Election Operation Expert
Education: Master’s or BA in Political Science, Law, Public Administration, Development Studies, Economics or related fields
Experience: 5 years (Master’s) or 7 years (BA)
Duty Station: South West Ethiopia RBO (Bonga)
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electoral processes and political systems
- Ethical commitment to impartiality and democratic values
- Coordination and operational problem-solving skills
- Not a member of a political party
Position 5: Finance Expert
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business or related fields
Experience: 5 years (Master’s) or 7 years (BA)
