MODETH Outsource PLC (ModernETH) is a technology-focused outsourcing center established in January 2008, headquartered in Addis Ababa with offices in the United States and the UAE. The company specializes in software development, web and mobile application development, graphic design, IT support services, and ICT tools trading.
ModernETH is seeking customer-focused and highly motivated Support Agents who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
POSITION: SUPPORT AGENT
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent command of the English language with a neutral accent (spoken and written – CEFR C1+ level)
- Strong computer literacy with good typing and spelling skills
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute with a maximum of 5 errors
- Ability to work in a rotational shift environment
- Minimum educational requirement: KCSE Educational Certificate
- Customer service experience: Minimum of 6 months preferred
- Certificate of Good Conduct
- No existing job or school obligations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries
- Communicate with customers through multiple channels (voice and chat)
- Acknowledge, investigate, and resolve customer complaints
- Develop strong product knowledge to accurately address customer questions
- Process customer orders, forms, applications, and requests
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback
- Coordinate with team members and other departments when necessary
- Provide feedback to improve customer service processes
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality professional support
