About MK Digital Security Solutions PLC

MK Digital Security Solutions PLC (MKDSS) is recruiting qualified and interested external candidates to join its Smart Card Factory in different positions within the cafeteria and Quality Management Department.

Position 1: Canteen Chief / Chief Cook

Minimum Qualification

Applicants should have:

• TVET Level IV or Diploma in:
  • Food Preparation
  • Professional Cooking
  • Hotel Management
  • Catering
  • Food Production
  • Related fields

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as:
  • Chef
  • Chief Chef
  • Canteen Chef
  • Similar position in a hotel, restaurant, catering organization, factory canteen, or related institution
• Experience supervising kitchen assistants is preferred.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook daily meals according to the approved menu.
• Supervise kitchen assistants during food preparation and serving.
• Ensure food quality, taste, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Plan daily food preparation and coordinate kitchen activities.
• Monitor food ingredients and prepare purchase requests when necessary.
• Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness.
• Keep daily food preparation and consumption records.
• Follow company food safety, health, security, and safety procedures.

Position 2: QC/QA Team Leader

Minimum Qualification

Applicants should have:

• BSc Degree in:
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Applied Chemistry
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Related fields

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance
• Experience in team leadership and management
• Experience in smart card manufacturing or similar electronic manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant quality management systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor QC/QA staff.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
• Implement and maintain quality management systems and procedures.
• Conduct and support internal and external audits.
• Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished smart cards.
• Ensure products meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Analyze quality data and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage non-conformities and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain quality assurance documentation and records.
• Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct risk assessments and support risk mitigation.
• Prepare quality reports and present findings to management.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Reports To: Quality Management Manager

Position 3: Quality Control Inspector

Minimum Qualification

Applicants should have:

• BSc Degree in:
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Applied Chemistry
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Related fields
• TVET Level I

Experience Requirement

• Relevant experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance is preferred.
• Experience in smart card manufacturing or similar electronic manufacturing is an advantage.

Main Responsibilities

• Inspect input materials used in card production.
• Check product quality along production lines.
• Inspect in-process products and identify production errors.
• Check product specifications such as thickness and adhesive quality.
• Inspect finished and packaged products before delivery.
• Prepare quality reports and maintain production records.
• Monitor production losses and report issues exceeding allowable limits.
• Immediately report risks that may affect product quality.
• Follow company quality, security, and operational procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
