Metemamen Microfinance Institute S.C (MMFI) was established and licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) under Proclamation No. 40/96 on February 6, 2002.
MMFI provides financial services for a variety of purposes including:
- Trading businesses
- Short-term business deficits
- Fattening activities
- Purchase or rental of materials and machinery
- Completion of constructions, including residential projects

Position: Purchaser
Qualifications:
- BA / Level IV in Purchasing & Supplies Management, Accounting & Finance, Management, or related fields
- 3rd Grade / Public 1 Driving License with driving experience is an advantage
- 2–4 years of relevant work experience
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage procurement efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure goods, materials, and services according to company policies
- Evaluate suppliers and negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and terms
- Ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of purchased items
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and expenditures
- Collaborate with internal departments to meet operational needs
- Monitor inventory levels and support cost control initiatives
