Metemamen Microfinance Vacancy 2026: Metemamen Micro Finance Institution S.C. (MMFI) is inviting qualified and experienced candidates to apply for three positions in Information Systems Security, Digital Systems Development & Integration, and IT Auditing.
About Metemamen Micro Finance Institution
Metemamen Micro Finance Institution S.C. (MMFI) was established and licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) to operate nationwide under Proclamation No. 40/96 on February 6, 2002.
The institution provides financing for various activities, including trading businesses, short-term business needs, livestock fattening, purchasing or renting materials and machinery, and construction-related activities.
Position 1: Information Systems Security Officer
The Information Systems Security Officer will support the security and protection of digital systems and information technology infrastructure within the institution.
Educational Requirements
Applicants should have a degree or relevant qualification in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Information Science
- Management Information Systems
- Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Related IT fields
Experience Requirements
Candidates should have:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in digital systems development, integration, or related areas.
- 1–2 years of experience as an Information Systems Security Officer or in an equivalent position.

Position 2: Digital Systems Dev’t & Integration Officer
The Digital Systems Development & Integration Officer will contribute to the development, support, integration, and implementation of digital systems and financial technology solutions.
Educational Requirements
Applicants should have a degree or relevant qualification in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Information Science
- Management Information Systems
- Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Related IT fields
Experience Requirements
Candidates should have:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in digital systems development, integration, or related fields.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Digital Systems Support Officer, Digital Systems Development Officer, Digital Payment Officer, Digital Integration Officer, or in an equivalent role.

Position 3: IT Auditor II
The IT Auditor II will support the assessment of information technology systems, cybersecurity controls, risks, and internal controls.
Educational Requirements
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Information Science
- Management Information Systems
- Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Related IT fields
Experience Requirements
Candidates should have:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT/System Auditing.
- Strong understanding of IT audit standards, cybersecurity, risk management, and internal controls.
- Experience in IT risk assessment.
- Knowledge or experience in disaster recovery.
- Experience in security auditing.
