Position: Finance Intern
Educational Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Business Administration
- Or a related field
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work accurately
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Requirement
- One recommendation letter from a university or higher education institution confirming the applicant’s integrity and sense of responsibility
Intern Responsibilities
The selected intern will support the Finance team while gaining practical experience in financial operations and administration.
Interns are expected to:
- Maintain professionalism both inside and outside the workplace
- Respect Mercy Corps policies, procedures, and organizational values
- Comply with local laws and regulations throughout the internship period
Internship Benefits
During the internship, Mercy Corps will provide:

- Per diem during field assignments

- Transportation costs for field visits
Interns Will Be Responsible For
- Daily transportation to and from the office
- Medical expenses
- Personal insurance costs

- Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Note: The internship should be based in the intern’s home location.
