About Medical Teams International
Medical Teams International (MTI) is a global humanitarian organization providing life-saving medical and dental care to people in crisis. Established in 1979, MTI operates in over 32 countries, deploying teams of volunteer medical professionals and delivering critical health supplies in disaster and conflict settings.
Beyond emergency response, MTI also works closely with local partners to implement long-term health and community development programs, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and capacity building.
Position: Program Intern (Female Only)
Education, Licenses & Certification:
- BSc degree in a health-related field
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.6 or above
Experience:
- Open to fresh graduates; no prior work experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to serve others
- Respectful and sensitive to cultural differences
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Adaptable and flexible under changing conditions
- Willing to work in basic field conditions
- Culturally aware and professional in communication
Physical Conditions:
- Requires frequent travel to remote health facilities with limited amenities
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
