Position Summary: Junior IT Support Officer
LESSO Ethiopia is looking for a motivated and skilled Junior IT Support Officer to provide technical support across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in IT systems, infrastructure, and end-user support within a growing multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, or in person
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and applications
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Document and manage support requests and solutions
- Maintain IT asset inventory (hardware, software, licenses)
- Assist with routine network monitoring and infrastructure setup
- Perform system updates, virus scans, and regular backups
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, routers, switches)
- Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively under pressure
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply
