Position: Junior Physiotherapist
Deborah Foundation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Junior Physiotherapist to support children with intellectual disabilities through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions. The role requires strong technical knowledge, teamwork, and dedication to child-centered care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
- Valid Physiotherapy License
- Strong knowledge of neurodevelopmental and motor disorders associated with intellectual disabilities
- Familiarity with evidence-based physiotherapy techniques for children with intellectual disabilities
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate physiotherapy interventions
- Proficiency in written and spoken Amharic and English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
Essential Skills
- Basic computer skills including Word and Excel
- Fluent English communication skills
- Strong understanding of physiotherapy practice
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient personality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
