Educational Requirements

Applicants should:

• Hold or currently pursue a Master’s Degree in one of the following fields:
  • Development Studies
  • Economics
  • Statistics
  • Public Health
  • Education
  • Social Sciences
  • Related fields

Required Skills and Qualifications

Research Skills

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Interest in research, monitoring and evaluation, or program implementation
• Knowledge of research methods is an advantage

Analytical Skills

Applicants should have:

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools:
  • Word
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint

Additional advantage:

• Experience with statistical software such as:
  • Stata
  • SPSS
  • R
• Familiarity with data collection tools such as:
  • ODK
  • SurveyCTO

Writing Skills

Candidates should have:

• Strong English writing and editing skills
• Ability to prepare clear and organized documents

Organizational Skills

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Strong attention to detail
• Good time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Interpersonal Skills

Candidates should have:

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Language Requirements

Required:

• Fluency in English and Amharic

Additional Ethiopian languages are an advantage.
