JOB POSITION & REQUIREMENTS
Position : Medical Equipment Service Engineer
➠ Education : Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
➠ Experience : 0 years of experience
Skills
➠ Strong technical knowledge of medical equipment and devices.
➠ Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
➠ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
➠ Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
➠ Good communication and customer service skills.
➠ Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications
➠ Experience with a wide range of medical devices, including imaging equipment, patient monitoring systems, and Endoscopy instruments.
➠ Knowledge of healthcare facility operations and requirements
Key Responsibilities
➠ Installation : Install medical equipment at healthcare facilities, ensuring all devices are set up correctly and meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
➠ Maintenance : Perform routine preventive maintenance on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities.
➠ Repairs : Diagnose and repair malfunctions in medical equipment, utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and appropriate testing tools.
➠ Calibration : Calibrate medical devices to ensure accuracy and reliability in their operation.
➠ Technical Support: Provide technical support to healthcare professionals and end-users, including training on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
➠ Compliance : Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and standards, including safety guidelines and manufacturer’s protocols.
➠ Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including work orders, parts used, and equipment status reports.
➠ Customer Service : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support
Working Conditions
➠ This is a full-time position.
➠ The role requires frequent travel to various healthcare facilities for on-site service and support.
➠ The position may involve working outside of regular business hours, including weekends and evenings, to respond to emergency repair requests.
➠ The role may require lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment.
