One of the key sectors of GIZ’s work is Sustainable Economic Growth, which focuses on strengthening economic resilience, promoting innovation, and creating employment opportunities to ensure long-term prosperity for African societies and regional economic integration.
The sector currently includes seven projects with a combined volume of EUR 140.2 million, co-funded by the European Union and the German Government.

Qualifications
• Graduates who are allowed to reside and work in Ethiopia
• Applicants must have completed their studies within the last year
Educational Background
• Degree in:
- Communications
- English Language or Literature
- International Relations
- Related fields
Required Skills and Competencies
• Strong proficiency in English is essential
• Knowledge of other African Union working languages is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and familiarity with InDesign and Photoshop is an advantage
• Strong writing and editing skills to produce clear and engaging communication materials
• Good sense of visual storytelling, aesthetics, and branding
• Ability to conduct online research, analyze data, and summarize complex information
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
