Available Positions

1. Junior Rural Development / Dryland Farming Adviser

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Dryland Agriculture
  • Natural Resource Management
  • Rural Development
  • Or a related field

Experience

• Fresh graduates or applicants with up to one year of relevant field experience.
• Experience in community-based agricultural extension, watershed development, or dryland farming is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of participatory training methods and adult learning principles.
• Familiarity with flood-based farming, water harvesting, or soil and water conservation is desirable.
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
• Strong command of English and Afarigna or Somaligna (mandatory).

Qualification

• High School Diploma or completion of Grade 10 or above.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of relevant cleaning or housekeeping experience.

Required Skills

• Basic English communication skills (A1 level or above).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Amharic (required).
• Good spoken and written English.
• Experience working with an international organization is an added advantage.
