We are currently seeking a Finance and Administration Officer to manage core financial operations and support administrative functions, ensuring organizational compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day financial transactions, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and manage tax reporting in compliance with Ethiopian regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely documentation
- Prepare monthly financial reports, assist in audits, and monitor organizational budgets
- Manage office operations including procurement, logistics, and asset tracking
- Support HR functions such as employee records, recruitment logistics, and leave tracking
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial management policies
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
- BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in finance and administration
Skills:
- Proficiency in Peachtree or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and reporting frameworks
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Fluent communication in both Amharic and English
