Position Details
Clearing and Reconciliation Officer I
Educational Qualification
- BA Degree in Accounting, Economics, Management, or related fields
Experience
- Experience is advantageous
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities
The Clearing and Reconciliation Officer I will be responsible for:
- Conducting daily end-of-day settlement processes in compliance with system rules
- Generating Net Settlement Instructions (NSIs) for immediate and next-day settlements
- Preparing switching fee reports for the internal finance division
- Executing reconciliation operations using the EthioRecon tool
- Preparing and sharing unsettled transaction reports with member financial institutions
- Generating daily reports on successful transactions and end-of-day system status for management
- Producing periodic and ad hoc reports for stakeholders
- Performing additional duties as assigned

- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and reporting ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced financial environment
