Position: Junior Procurement Officer
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying procurement needs and sourcing suppliers.
- Obtain quotes for goods and services and generate accurate purchase orders.
- Maintain positive supplier and vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery.
- Support senior procurement officers in contract review and supplier negotiations.
- Monitor stock levels, track incoming shipments, and update inventory data.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical practices.
- Research market trends, suppliers, and products to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Analyze procurement data and generate performance reports.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
