Position: Junior Customer Care Officer
This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are passionate about customer service, communication, and problem-solving. The Junior Customer Care Officer will handle customer inquiries, support service delivery, and contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction across Ethiopost’s service network.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following educational criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Secretarial Science, Office Management, or related fields with 0 years of experience
OR - College Diploma + TVET Level IV in related fields with 2 years of work experience
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Understand Ethiopost’s services to provide accurate information and product guidance
- Process customer orders, handle transactions, and coordinate with departments to ensure timely service delivery
- Investigate and resolve issues such as billing errors, service interruptions, and shipment problems
- Communicate clearly and empathetically, ensuring positive customer interactions
- Collect, document, and report customer feedback for service improvement
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to higher-level support
- Maintain strong customer relationships through consistent and reliable service
- Collaborate with operations and other departments to resolve customer cases efficiently
- Work effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Prepare or receive damaged shipment reports needed for claims settlement
- Ensure all customer complaints are resolved in a timely and high-quality manner
- Support teamwork, contribute to shared goals, and offer assistance to colleagues
