Ethiopian Reinsurance S.C is Ethiopia’s first reinsurance company, incorporated under Article 5(8) of the Insurance Business Proclamation No.746/2012. Operating since July 1, 2016, Ethiopian Re provides both life and non-life reinsurance solutions. The company also plans to expand its operations internationally.
Relying on a strong capital base and retrocession protection from world-renowned reinsurance companies, Ethiopian Re offers comprehensive inward reinsurance cover to domestic insurers and selectively accepts international business.
Positions Available
1. Office Assistant
Qualification: Diploma (TVET) in Secretarial Science, Office Management, or related fields
Experience: Two (2) years of directly related work experience
Location: Addis Ababa
2. Senior Site Engineer
Qualification: BSc in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology & Management, or Building Construction
Experience: Six (6) years of directly related experience on building site construction projects
Location: Addis Ababa
Key Responsibilities
Office Assistant
- Manage daily administrative and secretarial tasks
- Support internal communication and documentation
- Maintain organized office systems and filing
Senior Site Engineer
- Plan, supervise, and execute building construction projects
- Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and timeline standards
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
