Position Title: Resident Enumerator / Data Collector
Employment Type: Short-Term Consultant (Part-Time)
Contract Duration: Up to 2 months (renewal possible)

Locations: Afar, Somali, Benshangul Gumuz, Central Ethiopia, Gambella, Harari, Dire Dawa, Sidama, South-West Ethiopia
Reports to: Field Supervisor + Regional & Project Coordinators
Remuneration: As per EPMA project payment standards

Position: Resident Enumerator / Data Collector
Essential Qualifications
- Diploma / 10+3 / Level IV or above in:
Computer Science, IT, Health, Statistics, Economics, Sociology, Management, Accounting or related fields - Experience working as a data collector or higher in national surveys such as:
EDHS, PMA, mini-EDHS, SPA, SARA - Experience with mobile data collection, preferably ODK
- Ability and willingness to work in remote areas
- Willing to travel to Addis Ababa or regions for training
- Excellent English communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Good teamwork and independent working skills
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work evenings/weekends when required
- Skills in electronic communication (email, Skype)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in EDHS 2024
- Proficiency in local/regional language of assigned area
- Experience in surveys related to:
Family planning, maternal health, nutrition - Reside in or near the enumeration area (Kebele > Woreda > Zone > Region)
- Excellent interviewing skills
- Experience in community- or facility-based research
- Minimum 1 year of relevant field work experience
Deliverables
- Signed contractual agreement
- Completed and submitted survey questionnaires
- Submitted logistics and progress reports
- Returned project-issued equipment
- Field activity progress reports
