It operates as the official representative of the Ethiopian government, facilitating diplomatic relations, promoting economic and cultural cooperation, providing consular services to Ethiopian nationals, and assisting German citizens with interests in Ethiopia.

Position: Receptionist and Telephone Operator

Education: Minimum of 12th grade completion, plus a Professional Training Certificate.

Work Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience as a receptionist and telephone operator or in a related field from a recognized institution.

Language Skills: Fluent in German, English, and Amharic (both written and spoken).

Competencies: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Job Description:

The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Berlin is seeking to fill the following position:
Position: Receptionist and Telephone Operator
Location: Ethiopian Embassy, Berlin, Germany
Employment Terms: Contractual for one (1) year, renewable based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the telephone switchboard and handle incoming calls.
Greet and assist visitors at the Embassy.
Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
