JOB POSITION & REQUIREMENTS
Position 1: Life Insurance Officer-II
The following additional competencies & abilities required
- Considerable knowledge of life insurance business
- Good knowledge of life insurance policies and procedures of the company
- Ability to undertake risk assessment and prepare policy documents
- Ability to compute premiums correctly
- Good communication and human relations skills
Job Requirement
- Education: BA/BSC degree in Management/ Accounting/Economics/Marketing/ Statistics or other related field of study from a recognized University
- Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in insurance business.

Position 2: Underwriting Officer
The following additional competencies & abilities required
- Basic knowledge of insurance business
- Basic knowledge of risk assessment methods/techniques
- Basic knowledge of core business governing policies and procedures
- Ability to collect ,compile and analyze data
Education: BA/BSC degree in Management/ Accounting/Economics/Marketing/ Statistics or other related field of study from a recognized University
Experience: A minimum of one(1) years of relevant experience in insurance business.

Position 3: Underwriting Officer- II
The following additional competencies & abilities required
- Handles queries from customers on policy terms, conditions and exceptions
- Calculates premium for the class of business and sum insured using rate charts
- Issues underwritten policies to customers after ensuring premium settlement or arrangement of payment
Education: BA/BSC degree in Management/ Accounting/Economics/Marketing/ Statistics or other related field of study from a recognized University
Experience: A minimum of Four(4) years of relevant experience in insurance business.
Required No: Three
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Position 4: Senior Underwriting Officer
The following additional competencies & abilities required
- Assists in planning underwriting and branch operation activities
- Conducts pre and post risk surveys
- Conducts market studies to explore and exploit market opportunities
- Checks and initials on documents after typing and ensures that endorsements, clauses, warranties
Education: BA/BSC degree in Management/ Accounting/Economics/Marketing/ Statistics or other related field of study from a recognized University
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in insurance business.
Required No: Three
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Position 5: Manager, Internal Audit Service
The following additional competencies & abilities required
- knowledge of audit and financial management principles, procedures and practices
- Diploma in Insurance and Higher Education is preferable
- Thorough knowledge of financial laws and audit regulations
- Ability to analyze financial statements
- Good knowledge of insurance business
- Good communication skill
- Good interpersonal relation and analytical skill
- Dependable &Team Player
Education: BA Degree in Accounting /Accounting and Finance field of study from a recognized University. Diploma in Insurance and Higher Education is preferable.
Experience: A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in Insurance Business; 3 years of which in supervisory positions
