JOB POSITION & REQUIREMENTS
Position: IT Support
Qualifications, Experience and Requirement:
• B.Sc. in Computer science, information technology
• CompTIA A+: Entry-level certification covering hardware and software.
• CompTIA Network+: Networking basics and troubleshooting.
• CompTIA Security+: Basic security practices and protocols.
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server: For those supporting Windows environments.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA): For networking professionals
• 2 years for B.Sc.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, as directed.
• Document technical issues and resolutions accurately.
• Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex technical problems efficiently.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.
• Perform other IT-related tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information and interactions with users.
Competences
• Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
• Good communication skill both in Amharic & English
• Good problem understanding and solving skill
