The MESPOM program trains future environmental professionals and leaders who can address global sustainability challenges through science-based policy and management.

Program Duration and Structure

The MESPOM Master’s Program spans two years (120 ECTS credits) and provides students with a diverse academic and cultural experience across Europe.

Program Structure:

  • Year 1 (Fall & Winter): Central European University (Vienna, Austria)
  • Year 2 (Fall): Lund University (Sweden) or University of Manchester (UK)
  • Year 2 (Spring): University of the Aegean (Lesvos, Greece)
  • Summer Term: Internship supervised by MESPOM faculty
  • Thesis Term: Students choose one of the partner universities based on research interests
