Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest, Hungary, is now accepting applications for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship 2026. This fully funded scholarship allows international students to pursue undergraduate, Master’s, and doctoral studies in Hungary. The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, health insurance, monthly stipend, and round-trip airfare for selected students.
Founded in 1635, Eötvös Loránd University is one of Hungary’s largest and most prestigious public universities. ELTE offers a wide range of academic programs across all major fields, including science, engineering, humanities, social sciences, and arts.
Financial Benefits
The scholarship covers all major expenses for selected students:
- Full tuition fee for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs
- Monthly stipend: 43,700 HUF (sufficient for living expenses)
- Accommodation (fully provided)
- Health insurance
- Round-trip airfare for selected students
Scholarship Duration
- Bachelor’s Degree: 2–4 years
- Master’s Degree: 1.5–2 years
- One-tier Master’s Program: 5–6 years
- Doctoral Program (PhD): 4 years
- Non-degree Programs: 1 year
