Position 1: Junior Geotechnical Engineer

Educational Qualification

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in:

• Civil Engineering
• Geotechnical Engineering
• Geological Engineering
• Related fields

Experience

• 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements & Skills

Applicants should have:

• Strong academic performance, particularly in Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering
• Basic knowledge of:
  • Geotechnical investigation
  • Foundation design
  • Bearing capacity
  • Settlement analysis
• Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • AutoCAD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and work under supervision
• Willingness to travel to project sites

Additional Advantages

Knowledge or experience in the following is an advantage:

• Eurocode 7
• Ethiopian Building Codes
• PLAXIS
• GeoStudio
• Similar geotechnical software

Position 2: Junior Architect

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture

Experience

• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience

Required Knowledge

Applicants should have:

• Good understanding of architectural design principles
• Knowledge of construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
• Ability to prepare architectural drawings

Required Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following is required:

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp or other 3D modeling software
• Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, or similar visualization software
• Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
• Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Advantage

• Knowledge of BIM workflows
