EMA Import and Export Pvt. Ltd. Co, a member of the DROGA Group, was established to support the export of Ethiopian agricultural products, real estate development, commercial farming, and agro-industry manufacturing. The company aims to increase foreign currency availability and promote import substitution in Ethiopia.
Droga Pharma invites qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the following position.
Position: Junior Pharmacist
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
- 0–1 year of experience in dispensing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for order processing and tracking
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Good Dispensing Practices for both OTC and prescription-only medicines
- Ensure accurate dispensing in accordance with prescribers’ instructions and patient safety requirements
- Review patient personal information and medication history before dispensing
- Perform duties ethically with full professional competence
- Adhere to pharmacy opening and closing procedures and routine operational guidelines
- Accurately process and dispense medication orders following established protocols
- Manage inventory and maintain proper dispensing records
- Promptly report any dispensing errors or incidents and take corrective action as required
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally while complying with internal rules and procedures
