Position 1: Silica Sand Quarry Controller
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
- Mining Engineering
- Geological Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Or a related field
Experience
- 0 years and above of relevant experience in quarry operations or heavy industry.
Required Skills
Successful candidates should possess:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of quarry operations and safety procedures.
- Planning and reporting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
Working Conditions
- Outdoor quarry environment with exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and varying weather conditions.
Duty Station
- Jema (Around Lemi), Amhara Region
Position 2: Sand Plant and Cullet Plant Supervisor
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have:
- BSc Degree or Diploma in:
- Chemical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Mineral Processing
- Industrial Chemistry
- Or a related field
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a glass manufacturing environment.
- Supervisory experience is an added advantage.
Required Skills and Competencies
Successful candidates should demonstrate:
- Leadership and supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of sand processing and cullet sorting.
- Quality control and laboratory awareness.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills.

Position 3: Driver
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have:
- Completed Grade 10.
- Valid 3rd Grade Driving License.
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant driving experience.

- Knowledge of transport authority regulations.
- Ability to safely operate assigned vehicles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
