About Deborah Foundation

The foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities through health, education, and policy advocacy. Deborah Foundation works closely with families, communities, and stakeholders to create inclusive opportunities and meaningful impact for children with intellectual disabilities.
Position: Project Officer
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Psychiatry Nursing, Social Work, Sociology, or a related field.
- 0–1 years of experience in project coordination or NGO work is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in Siltigna, Meskanigna, Amharic, and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools.
- Commitment to working with children and communities with intellectual disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
