As part of our Ethiopia operations, DRC is seeking a highly qualified Administration Officer to join our team in Addis Ababa and support core administrative functions that enhance organizational performance and impact.
Position: Administration Officer – Support Services Unit
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative operations in support of program and logistics teams
- Coordinate travel, visa, and immigration procedures for staff and guests
- Maintain administrative filing systems, records, and compliance documentation
- Support procurement, fleet, and asset management processes
- Organize meetings, workshops, and other organizational events
- Ensure the office complies with safety and security protocols
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and other external stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role within an international NGO
- Knowledge of Ethiopian travel and immigration procedures
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience with basic database management and event logistics
- Fluency in English and local languages
- High ethical standards and ability to uphold DRC’s Code of Conduct
