JOB OVERVIEW
Position 1: Production Team Leader
Location: Addis Ababa
The Production Team Leader will report to the Unit Manager – Addis Ababa Plant and will support production operations within the manufacturing environment.
Educational Qualification
- First Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- First Degree in Industrial Engineering
- First Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
Candidates should have relevant technical knowledge and practical manufacturing experience.
Position 2: Electrical Specialist
Location: Sebeta
The Electrical Specialist will be responsible for supporting electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and manufacturing operations.
Educational Qualification
- First Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong maintenance management and troubleshooting skills
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Knowledge of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards
- Asset management and equipment reliability
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems effectively
Position 3: Maintenance Controller
Location: Bahir Dar
The Maintenance Controller will support maintenance management and asset reliability within the manufacturing environment.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
- Related engineering field
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing environment
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of maintenance and asset management systems
- Budgeting and cost-control skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of utilities, processing, and packaging systems
- Experience with MES and MIS systems
- Vendor and contractor management
- Leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make effective decisions
- Resilience and strong execution skills
Position 4: Cooler Technician
Locations: Jimma and Hawassa
The Cooler Technician position focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of cold drink equipment and related systems.
Educational Qualification
Applicants should have a:
- Diploma in Electricity
- Diploma in Electrical Technology
- Diploma in Electronics
- Diploma in General Mechanics
- Or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician
- At least 1 year of experience in refrigeration or AC maintenance, assembly, or fabrication
- Experience with cold drink equipment or coolers in a bottling/manufacturing environment is preferred
- Formal training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration systems
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of cold drink equipment and cooler mechanics
- Understanding of electrical and refrigeration systems
- Ability to use diagnostic and repair tools
- Preventive and corrective maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance practices
- Accurate maintenance documentation and record keeping
