Position: Senior IT System Auditor
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field
- MSc degree is an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and execute IT audits including core banking systems, networks, databases, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity frameworks
- Evaluate IT general controls (ITGC), application controls, and information security practices
- Assess API governance, security, and access control—particularly in open banking and fintech integrations
- Review the implementation of RESTful and SOAP APIs, focusing on authentication, encryption, and security logging
- Conduct audits of digital banking platforms, mobile apps, and payment systems
- Identify technology-related risks and evaluate the effectiveness of control mechanisms
- Participate in integrated audits with operational and financial auditors, providing IT expertise
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations
