Position Summary
Are you a fresh graduate from Addis Ababa University with a strong technical foundation and a thirst to grow in a fast-moving tech startup? Bouncepoint is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to contribute to real-world projects, including GenAI-native applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Collaborate in code reviews and sprint planning sessions
- Contribute to ongoing design and architecture discussions
- Research new technologies and development methodologies
- Participate in product development involving Generative AI (GenAI) and automation tools
- Quickly learn new frameworks and tools as the project demands
- Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Support cross-functional team efforts to improve Bouncepoint’s core platform
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
(June 2025 graduates from Addis Ababa University preferred) - Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Passionate about technology and emerging trends
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with a startup culture — fast-paced, flexible, and mission-driven
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity or interest in Generative AI (GenAI)
- Experience with side projects, internships, or university assignments demonstrating programming ability
- Exposure to modern tools such as Git, VS Code, Docker, or cloud platforms
- Curious mindset and strong motivation to build scalable systems
