About Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI)
Founded in 1970, the Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI) is Ethiopia’s premier biomedical research institute, named after Dr. Gerhard Henrik Armauer Hansen, who discovered the leprosy bacillus (Mycobacterium leprae). Today, AHRI operates under the Federal Ministry of Health and serves as a hub for biomedical research, clinical trials, and research capacity building.
With over 50 years of service, AHRI plays a vital role in health innovation, skill and technology transfer, and partnership building, impacting communities in Ethiopia and beyond.

1. Pharmaceutical & Medical Equipment Warehouse Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Environmental Health, Medical Equipment, or Pharmacology
- Experience: Not required (Fresh Graduate eligible)
Salary: 12,000 ETB
Location: Addis Ababa
2. Warehouse Management Expert
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Management, Procurement & Supply Management, Salesmanship, Marketing, Marketing Management, Management, or Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Experience: Not required (Fresh Graduate eligible)
Salary: 12,000 ETB
Location: Addis Ababa
