Position: Trainee Banker
Program Overview
The Trainee Banker position is an entry-level opportunity designed for high-achieving graduates to gain practical banking experience and build foundational knowledge of financial services operations. Trainees will be placed in various Addis Ababa city branches under the supervision of experienced banking professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn core banking operations through rotational assignments
- Support daily banking transactions and customer service activities
- Assist in account management, sales, and financial documentation
- Participate in on-the-job training and performance reviews
- Develop competency in customer handling, compliance, and reporting
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Educational Qualification
- Degree Fields: Accounting, Banking & Insurance, Banking & Finance, Management, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Economics, or other related disciplines
Year of Graduation
- Only 2024 and 2025 graduates
- Must have successfully passed the national Exit Exam
Academic Requirement
- Cumulative GPA (CGPA): 3.00 and above
