This internship opportunity is part of the Saving Lives and Livelihoods (SLL) Initiative, a strategic partnership between the Mastercard Foundation and the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC). The initiative aims to save lives, protect livelihoods, and accelerate economic recovery across the African continent.

Internship Position: Strategy and Communications Intern

Amref Health Africa is seeking motivated and passionate fresh graduates or final-year students to support strategy development, communications, and organizational initiatives under the Saving Lives and Livelihoods program.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Health, Communications, Public Policy, International Development, or a related field
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to synthesize information into clear and practical outputs
  • Ability to prepare well-organized and visually appealing documents, briefs, and presentations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong interest in strategy, innovation, organizational transformation, and development work
