Position: Machine Operator
The Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment, maintaining product quality, and supporting efficient manufacturing processes.
Education & Experience
Educational Qualification
- Level IV certification in:
- Controlling Technology Management
- General Metal Fabrication & Assembly
- Or other related technical fields
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Required Skills, Knowledge & Characteristics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively at all organizational levels
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of initiative and multitasking ability
- Ability to work under pressure and follow safety standards
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor the proper functioning of production equipment and coordinate with subordinate workers
- Ensure adequate quantity and quality of raw materials and packaging materials for production
- Report mechanical and electrical issues to the shift mechanic, electrician, and production shift leader for immediate action
- Monitor hourly production output to ensure compliance with required quality standards
- Control processing parameters during production and report deviations immediately
- Prevent damage to production equipment during operation
- Maintain cleanliness of production equipment and working areas
- Ensure availability of cleaning materials and supervise cleaning activities
- Supervise workers to ensure adherence to safety procedures
- Prepare and submit production monitoring reports to the immediate supervisor
- Document production issues in written reports and verbally communicate them to supervisors
- Ensure uninterrupted production by addressing storage-related and operational challenges
