Addis Ababa Silk Road General Hospital (ASRGH) was established in 2017 by AFEI Holding in Addis Ababa as part of the “Belt and Road Initiative.” The 14-story, state-of-the-art hospital was designed to strengthen China-Africa cooperation in healthcare, enhance medical innovation, and provide world-class medical services in Ethiopia.
ASRGH is dedicated to serving both patients and healthcare professionals through its advanced medical facilities, skilled staff, and commitment to improving healthcare delivery across Africa.
Position 1: General Practitioner
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited university or medical college.
- Valid professional license to practice medicine in Ethiopia, issued by the relevant regulatory body.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or health center setting.
- Successful completion of the National Competency Exit Exam (score of 51% and above).
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth understanding of general medical principles and evidence-based clinical practices.
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and patient management skills.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and patient history taking.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- BLS and ACLS certification is required.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with hospital information systems.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
- Fluency in English (both oral and written).
Position 2: Radiology Technologist
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology Technology from a recognized university or medical college.
- Valid/renewed professional license or certification from the relevant Ethiopian health authority.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical environment.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong technical expertise in radiology imaging procedures and equipment operation.
- Understanding of radiation protection, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
- Competence in patient positioning, preparation, and communication.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems and digital imaging software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Fluency in English (both oral and written).
