The UTS RTP Scholarships 2026 invite international students from around the world to apply for fully funded Master’s by Research and PhD programs in Australia. These scholarships are funded under the Research Training Program (RTP) and are awarded based on academic merit and research potential.

• Living allowance for up to 3 years (2026 rate approximately AUD $39,000 per year, indexed)
• Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for single or family for the duration of the program
The scholarship covers major academic and living expenses during the research degree.

• Must meet the entry requirements for the selected faculty and research program
Important Points to Remember
• There is no separate application form for RTP scholarships.
• By applying for a research degree, applicants are automatically considered for all associated scholarships (including IRS and UTSP).
• Incomplete applications will not be considered.
• Applicants must submit their application before the deadline.

Applicants should use the UTS Handbook and “What Can I Study?” tool to identify a suitable research program and confirm that they meet faculty-specific entry requirements.
