Position: Intern – Communications & Media
Key Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a graduate program (second degree or higher) or final year of a bachelor’s program in journalism, communication, media relations, languages, digital social media, or a related field
- Internships do not require prior work experience
Languages:
- Fluency in English and/or French is required
- Knowledge of another UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Spanish) is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Support ECA’s diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda
- Assist in developing outreach strategies for inclusive recruitment
- Contribute to communication, media, and digital engagement initiatives
- Assist with content creation, reporting, and stakeholder communication
Additional Information:
- Interns are not financially remunerated
- Travel, visa, accommodation, and living costs are the responsibility of the intern or sponsoring institution
- Appropriate visa and work authorization may be required for non-residents
Location: Addis Ababa
