This internship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to ECA’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) agenda, with a focus on strengthening outreach strategies and supporting inclusive recruitment practices.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Support inclusive outreach and engagement initiatives.
• Monitor gender and diversity aspects in job openings.
• Conduct research and knowledge development on DEI practices.
• Contribute to inclusive workplace readiness activities.
• Provide event and campaign support for awareness-raising.

Qualifications / Special Skills

• Applicants must meet one of the following:
  • Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate programme (Master’s or equivalent).
  • Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final year of a Bachelor’s degree programme.
• No professional experience is required, but field of study must be related to the internship.
• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French or another UN official language is an asset.
• Women and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Reasonable accommodation will be provided if required.

Important Information for Interns

• Internships with the UN are unpaid.
• Travel, visa, accommodation, and living expenses remain the responsibility of the intern or sponsoring institution.
