About the BRIDGE+ Programme
BRIDGE+ is a five-year programme (November 2023 – December 2028) implemented by a consortium led by SNV Netherlands Development Organization, in partnership with Wageningen University (WUR) and Agriterra, with financial support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN).
The programme aims to strengthen agricultural systems, enhance market linkages, and empower smallholder farmers through inclusive and sustainable interventions.
Position Summary
The Project Assistant Intern will support the BRIDGE+ Project team by providing programmatic, administrative, and logistical assistance. The intern will work under the supervision of the project manager and contribute to the smooth functioning of project operations at the Dire Dawa office.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Financial Management, Project Management, or other related fields.
- Experience: 0–1 years of relevant experience in project administration or support functions.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the BRIDGE+ project team.
- Manage office operations including filing, documentation, and communication.
- Support fleet management and vehicle coordination.
- Assist in event planning and coordination (workshops, trainings, meetings).
- Handle basic financial and accounting tasks under supervision.
- Contribute to contract and procurement administration.
- Maintain effective internal communication across departments.
